Macos Tahoe 26 will support in these devices
According to Apple, Macos 26 is also known as Tahoe. It will be introduced via free OTA software for Apple Silicon (2020 and new), MacBook Pro 2019 and 2020, IMAC (2020 and new), MAC MINI (2020 and new), MAC STUDIO (2022 and new) and Mac Pro (2019 and new) with Macbook Air and Pro with MacBook AIR and Pro (2019 and new). Apart from this, Macos Tahoe 26 Developer Beta is now available for the Complete Mac device.
Macos 26 liquid glass design
Apple is incorporating its new design language in all its operating systems. Liquid glass is being described as a translucent material that acts like a glass in the real world. The toolbar and sidebar will now be in this new design and whatever will be seen on the display. The menu bar is now completely transparent and users will be able to customize it in many ways. Liquid glass UI will be applied to both light and dark mode. The color of the folder can now change and users can include any symbol or emoji for more personality.
New features with Macos 26
Tech giants are also expanding the features available in Macos with two new experiences. The phone app will be included in Macos Tahoe and will allow users to relay cellular call from their nearest iPhone. Users will be able to check their MAC devices directly to the resent, favorite and vegetables. Apart from this, new call screening and hold assist will also be able to use the feature.
Live activities are also being included in Macos through Continuity. When a user keeps the iPhone with him, live activities from his iPhone will be seen in the menu bar on his MAC. Apart from this, users will also be able to click on live activity and iPhone Mirror will allow them to work on their MAC device directly.
Spotlight upgrade
The spotlight company has these built search features, with a big upgrade. While earlier users could have access some first party apps through search features, all apps with MACOS 26 and their iPhone apps will be able to use through iPhone Mirroring. At the same time, files, folders, events, apps and messages etc. will be listed simultaneously, which will make it easy to find them. In WWDC 2025, Apple said that these things will be ranked intelligently based on the use for the user. This feature is also getting new filtering options and this third party can display a document stored on Cloud Drive. Apart from this, a new browsy view has been included which will allow users to scroll the content of their device.
Spotlight capacity and functionality have also been improved. According to Apple, users can do tasks such as sending emails, making notes or playing music or podcast inside the interface. Spotlight users will also allow users to run shortcuts and task in the app in which they are currently working. Apart from this, it will come with Macos Tahoe with Quick’s (button), which is a small string of the character, so that users will be able to search the task of their choice faster.
New apple intelligence feature
The company has provided several types of Apple Intelligence features in MACOS. It has live translation feature messages app, facetime and phone app, which provides real time text and audio translation of conversion. AI facility is also available in shortcuts. Users can now automatically automatically use on devices and private cloud compute based AI models. It is also integrating Chatgpt, from which users can take response from chatbott that feed them in their shortcuts. Shortcuts on Macos can now run automatically on the basis of time or file action. Apart from this, users can avail Apple Intelligence on MAC to review the content like email, website and notes to search for reminder. The reminder with AI can be automatically divided into sections to make it easier to scan.
